Total rates: The total rate of violent deaths in the county (includes all cases ruled as suicide, homicide, accidental gun death, or an undetermined death).
Deaths in County : Number of violent deaths that have occurred within the county (in a given year).
Rate of Deaths in the County : Number of deaths within the county within the county population (per 10,000 people).
Injury (Leading to Violent Deaths) in County : Number of injuries sustained within the county leading to violent deaths . (Death may or may not have occurred elsewhere).
Rate of Injury (Leading to Violent Deaths) in County : Injuries sustained within the county leading to violent deaths. (Within the county population, per 10,000 people).
Deaths to County Residents : County residents who died a violent death who may or may not have died in the county
Rate of Deaths to County Residents : Number of county residents who have died a violent death. (Within the county population, per 10,000 people).
*<5 is reported in place of the actual count and corresponding rate. Those cases might be identifiable because of the small count.
